Join Kern the Scholar and a cabblecade of let’s say ‘interesting’ (often problematic) characters as they embark upon an epic (reluctant) quest for knowledge and discovery for the good of the realms! Well, that’s what it’s about on paper at least; the truth of it is a little less clear-cut and wholesome. See, this particular band of what one might generously call researchers and investigators is not exactly the first pick in mind for such a prestigious undertaking. Unorthodox would be a fitting, if not kinder term than warranted. An adventure filled with mystery, intrigue, and a plethora of questions. Questionable characters, questionable ethics, questionable fashion, and the most beguiling question. Who the hell thought sending them was the best option?

Is a fantasy adventure based around the journey of a particularly egotistical scholar thrust into an adventure not of their choosing. As they travel across the lands to investigate strange occurrences, catalog monsters and marvels for academic research, and deal with a plethora of other issues along the way. The journey is anything but ordinary, and whatever you are expecting, it is not what you are about to receive.
