Support

Should you wish to be an exemplary person and support me as an artist, creator, author, or whatever term is preferred, there are a multitude of ways to do so. There are no wrong ways to support, and I appreciate them all. The Morris Musings is a passion project first and a commercial venture second. Everything on this site, the stories, the series, the illustrations, the ramblings are all created by one person with a dangerous amount of caffeine and a compulsive need to create. If something I’ve created brought you entertainment, made you think, or otherwise justified the time you spent here, and you feel compelled to throw a few coins into the void in appreciation, you can do so below.

Direct Support
Donations
The easiest way to support me is to donate directly or purchase my creations. No pressure. No guilt. No recurring subscription trap. Just a simple, straight-up one-time gesture if the mercantile spirit moves you.

All core content on this site (series & stories) are and will remain free. That’s not a marketing strategy, it’s a principle. That said, the infrastructure that keeps this glob of digital delight running, hosting, tools, domain, software, digital sacrifices, and the frankly alarming volume of coffee required to fuel it, does cost that ever-loathsome concept known as money.

Every contribution goes directly toward keeping this operation running and fueling future projects. Nothing is skimmed by a middleman platform. It all goes to my cats and me. They have expensive tastes, and tuna isn’t free.

Note: Contributions are not tax-deductible. The Morris Musings is a sole proprietorship, not a registered charity. Though if reckless creativity ever becomes a charitable cause, I will be first in line to apply.

Indirect Support (No Cost to you)
My personal favorite type of support is indirect. This is less about you spending money and more about validating my efforts and having somebody else deal with the cheque. Checking out my content on the following sites gives me a fractional stipend. Therefore, if the entire population of the earth drags retina over my works a couple of times, I can afford a coffee or two to help fuel further creation. That or a share here and there wouldn’t be a bad thing.

These are the locations my creations squat that help support me at no cost to you. This is a living list and will change over time. These are the current and pending methods to send some indirect appreciation my way.

= What Your Support Empowers =
I’m not the type to generally pander, and the more time I have to spend administrating, the less time I spend creating. Therefore, my goal is to spend the utmost time creating and as little time as possible dealing with the heinous administrative aspects of my multitude of projects.

As I’m not the average content creator churning out materials on a dedicated schedule like some trained animal, supporting me varies a bit depending on what content you enjoy or your personal preference on what to support. It all benefits me in the end, but I tend to shy away from subscription-based services as I like to provide real value that isn’t forced by timeline expectations. That’s how you make dispassionate slop content, and I’m not about that life.

The amount of support I receive changes the rate at which I produce as well as the quality. The more support, the better equipment I can attain, and the less time I have to dedicate to the drudgery of everyday existence, the more time is freed up to create.

If anything I’ve made or done brought a smile or some value to your life, let me know and show support in the way that best suits you. Times are tough, and disposable income isn’t a luxury everyone has, and I can respect that. Priorities right?

Sharing, Swearing, & Caring?
If you’re into my works, please share them around with others you think would enjoy them. I maintain a minimal social media presence (none seems pretty minimal), and the world is a vast place, so chances are I don’t necessarily have a beachhead in a lot of locations where people may go to find entertainment. If you share, that’s awesome; if not, no worries. You have agency; act appropriately.
