The Morris Musings is the umbrella identity for my ever-expanding collection of projects and creations. It is a nexus, gallery, and vault of my thoughts and expression. A personal deluge into the endless churning digital landscape. It serves as an anchor for all my official projects. If I’ve made it or had a part in it, and the crushing sense of shame associated didn’t make me vomit and hide it from the light of day, it can be found here. It is a signpost in the sea for all things me. But it’s more than an exercise of ego or a depressing mercantile venture.

What is the point of it all?
As silly, strange, or misguided as it sounds, everything on here is directed by a simple personal principle. The Morris Musings are intended to make the world a brighter place. Even if that is by an almost infinitesimally minuscule margin or a metric so vexingly minute it has yet to be discovered and named.
I created this website (who uses a personal/business website these days? I do apparently; it’s so cringe I love and loathe it) to inspire, entertain, and empower. The world can often seem overwhelming, chaotic, and downright bleak in the modern age. Pre-dystopia can be an odd time to inhabit. Life, on occasion, feels like quite the dismal dash to the dirt, and as orange-ish dairy product-oriented as it may sound, I wanted to do my part to alleviate that. The Morris Musings are projects and series intended for others, as well as a self-gratification experience to allow personal expression. I know you giggled at self-gratification; you can admit it. This isn’t a safe place; it’s the Internet after all, but we can pretend and live in the moment.
The Morris Musings are about creations, specifically those derived from my delectably twisted mind, but I hope my myriad projects and endeavors bring joy and entertainment to you. This is a project nexus of passion more than profit, but profit is a part of it as well. As value extraction demands.
Primarily, it is my little stab against the darkness to try and bring smiles and/or understanding to the world before my eventual return to the void.
This is brought to life through a plethora of projects and creations. Writing, illustrations, videos, or whatever else worms its way into my consciousness deep enough to drive me to create it.
Everybody has something to offer the world, and in my case, I’m a creator and a communicator if one is partial to such labels. I do not consider myself a “Content creator,” that term means nothing as far as I’m concerned, and has certain connotations and expectations that I do not ascribe to. I aspire to be more of a creativity consultant or a muse. Hence the name.
My method to benefit the world is to create that which stirs the imagination, and to assist in dispelling poor communication or provide a buffet of food for thought. I want to help make better creators and embolden creativity. My focus is on genuine human-driven creation and creating value for people, not content for engines.

Thank you for joining in my Musings. I know time is the most precious commodity in the modern age, and I appreciate you spending some of it here. It is my genuine hope that they make your life better in some manner. Very sorry if I wreck your mind along the way, or cause irrevocable trauma, but such is life. When one wanders onto the Internet, one is accepting the consequences of that choice. You could go live amongst the wild rodents, frolicking, eating berries, and avoiding predators, but no, you’re here instead, so might as well take advantage of it and explore what this mire in the code contains. Might even unearth a treasure or two, just be careful for any unexploded ordinance while you’re at it. I don’t know what was here before I moved in. Might be haunted for all I know.
